Ready, Set, GROW child care center expansion to Methodist Manor Retirement Community
Ready, Set, GROW (RSG) is partnering with Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake, Iowa to open a child care center in a community without a center for child care. Anticipated opening is Spring of 2019.
Davis County Daycare and Preschool’s Educational Experience Upgrade
Davis County is a “Child Care Desert”. There are at least 3 children for every child care spot available. The Davis County Daycare and Preschool is a nonprofit center that has been providing care in Davis County for over 40 years

Marita Theisen Child Care Center – BCCCSF
The Marita Theisen Child Care Center at Steeple Square was established in response to urgent calls from the community for affordable quality child care. The Center currently has enrolled more than 40 children, 70% of whom are from low-income families.
Sliding Fee Scale for Professional Development Day Services – BCCCSF Grant
LINK Grinnell is a newly established after-school program serving children in kindergarten through 7th grade in the Grinnell area since late 2019, created in response to a gap of 437 spaces for after-school care in the community.

The Montgomery County Child Development Association (MCCDA) was formed to address the lack of quality affordable child care in Montgomery County.
Stanton Child Care Resource Center Expansion – BCCCSF Grant
The Stanton Child Resource Center has been at capacity with a waiting list for over 4 years. It’s now working to more than double capacity through an addition and renovation of the current facility.
