Architectural Plans for a New Facility
Little Knights Learning Center
The mission of Little Knights Learning Center is to provide a safe, accessible, high-quality childcare center and 3-year-old preschool for families in and around La Porte City, Iowa. The center will be a registered, age 0-12 childcare center designed to accommodate approximately 88 children and managed as a 501c3 nonprofit. The project's timeline is to begin construction in 2024 and open the new facility in fall 2025.

The Kids Spot is a nonprofit child care center that opened in Lake City, Iowa in 1992. They provide part-time, full-time and before/after school care. They are the only DHS licensed program in their community.
