Tisha Ritter brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to social
justice to her role as the Director of Development at IWF.
In addition to holding a B.S.Ed. in Exercise Science from the University of
Kansas and an M.S.Ed. in College Student Development from Azusa Pacific
University, she spent 10 years in higher education and has nearly a decade
of experience in nonprofit leadership.
She’s also no stranger to the issues facing Iowa women—specifically
mothers. As the former Development Director at YPN (Young Parents
Network), she put her fundraising and management skills to good use
helping to remove barriers for parents of small children. This led to a deeper
understanding of the many barriers that exist for the underrepresented,
under-resourced, and marginalized people in our communities.
“Using research and data to address real-world issues specific to women and
girls is a dream come true. I am so excited to help promote and advance
IWF’s mission and ensure that the important work being done will continue.”
