Lori was asked to join the Board following her retirement from YWCA—an IWF grant recipient.
A native of Clinton, Lori earned her BA in Merchandising from Marycrest College with a minor in Public Relations and Marketing. She has co-owned a vending company with her husband and worked as the Executive Director of the Clinton YWCA for over 10 years. She currently serves as the Program Coordinator for Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat.
Lori is active on various boards and committees, and supports nonprofits in her community. This includes the Franciscan Peace Center in Clinton, Eastern Iowa Community College, First Central State Bank, The Clinton Herald Editorial Board, and the Iowa network Against Human Trafficking and Slavery.
Lori has worked on housing issues in Clinton for years, and knows that housing is imperative for a person to earn success. Once these basic needs are met, supportive services can help them take their next steps toward success.
