Jill joined the Iowa Women’s Foundation as Strategic Initiatives Director in 2025.
Rooted in Iowa since childhood, Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Services from Buena Vista University. Jill brings a deep passion for advancing women’s economic self-sufficiency and a long background in human services, community development, and advocacy.
From founding and leading Be the Light—a nonprofit focused on suicide prevention and brain health—to serving as the program manager for Resilient Communities Wapello County, Jill has proven herself as a connector, a convener, and a champion for women and families.
She’s adept at building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, businesses, and community partners to achieve lasting, positive change.
As a mother of two daughters, Jill is inspired by IWF’s mission to break barriers for women and girls across Iowa. She works daily to make the connections that expand access and opportunity.
