The YWCA Clinton is dedicated to eliminating racism; empowering women; and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity. They provide safe spaces for women and girls and advocate for civil and women’s rights. Their services include resources for individuals experiencing homelessness; after-school, summer, and enrichment programs for youth; and racial justice and women’s empowerment programs. IWF has previously funded their Women Workforce Ready program, which provides women with safe and affordable housing, addresses emergent needs such as clothing, doctor visits, and mental health needs, and connects them to education and training opportunities.
