The mission of Little Knights Learning Center is to provide safe, accessible, and high-quality childcare for families in and around La Porte City. They are addressing a critical shortage, as approximately 80 childcare spaces in this community have been lost due to closures of in-home providers. By creating more childcare spaces, they help empower women to stay in the workforce, rejoin the workforce, or advance their educations. The availability of high-quality childcare will also attract young families, create a more resilient local workforce, and support property values, economic vitality, and school enrollment.
