The Kids Spot has recently added more classrooms to their facility in order to serve more children in Calhoun County and surrounding areas in central northwest Iowa and provide employment opportunities for new staff. This will address the waitlist for families needing care. Funding will provide developmentally appropriate furnishings, materials and curriculum for a preschool room and a school age room. The center is a designated bus stop with the local public school, allowing transportation for school-aged children.
