 Volunteer your time and talents to help improve the lives of Iowa’s women and girls while also gaining experience, building your resume,  and networking with like-minded people. The team at Iowa Women’s Foundation is always in need of talented individuals to help us fulfill our mission.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Iowa Women’s Foundation is headquartered in Coralville, but our mission spans statewide. We work to improve the lives of ALL of Iowa’s women and girl’s through our network of regional teams.

Chicks for Change Cedar Valley

This dedicated group of supporters in the Cedar Valley was founded over a decade ago by residents of the area who were passionate about the work of the Iowa Women's Foundation. Together, the group members help increase awareness about IWF's work and build its philanthropy so ALL of Iowa's women and girls can be economically successful.

Chicks for Change Des Moines

Building on the success of Chicks for Change, IWF is launching additional local teams. In its third year, the Des Moines team is instrumental in increasing awareness about IWF's work and building its philanthropy so ALL of Iowa's women and girls can be economically successful.

Professional Services

This important group of people us their professional talents to benefit the Foundation. Skills include graphic design, printing, photography, marketing, public relations, human resources, finance, investment and technology.

Event Services

If you have special talents or expertise that are applicable to event planning, let us know! IWF holds two events annually - both supported bu committees with diverse skills and industry backgrounds.

Community Review Panels

Join a team that reviews annual grant applications and makes recommendations to the Grants Committee for funding. If you are interested in being a part of this important work, please complete the fillable CRP application form and submit no later than May 1.

Community Participation

Community Engagment

Members of the Community Engagment Committee promote the vision and research of the Foundation through community engagment and public awareness activities. The current focus is the Building Community Child Care Solutions Collaborative.

Development

The Committee's major role is to develop and oversee the implementation of the Board's fundraising strategies, both for annual operating funds and any major campaigns.

Finance

This committee is responsible for developing and overseeing the Foundation's financial operations.

Grant Allocation

Help make decisions on grant awards by serving on a community review panel.

Marketing & PR

The Marketing & PR Committee works to let people know who we are and what we do - and to get people involved.

Research

The Research committee collects and analyzes data to help the Foundation tell their story.
