IWF Annual Luncheon

Ambassador Mary KramerSince 1995, the IWF has hosted its largest fundraising event—the Annual Luncheon—each fall. The luncheon celebrates IWF’s work by announcing next year’s grantee partners and welcoming a keynote speaker that upholds the spirit of women working together to provide better opportunities for women and girls in Iowa and beyond. This year, we welcome our keynote speaker, Ambassador Mary Kramer.

Before “Ambassador” preceded her name, Mary Kramer was a pianist, a piano instructor, and a school administrator. After a career shift, she became the Corporate Personnel Director for Younkers Inc. and eventually moved on to become Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Community Investments at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Another shift, and she was serving in the Iowa Senate, as the President of the Senate, and finally, as the U.S. Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

At the core of Ambassador Kramer’s career path was one thing: the courage to lead.

Learn more about Ambassador Kramer’s journey, and hear firsthand why women and girls are always in a position to lead—regardless of the roles we are in at any given moment.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Corporate sponsorships of IWF’s annual events play a major role in the Foundation’s fundraising each year.

IWF has shifted from event-specific sponsorships to annual sponsorships. This means our sponsoring partners receive recognition on all event materials, our website, and on social media for a full calendar year. In addition to this acknowledgement, sponsors receive varying levels of perks based on their sponsorship level.

If your company is interested in sponsoring IWF, please fill out the Sponsorship Entry Form before making a payment.
