Jill Lane of Fairfield has accepted the role of Strategic Initiatives Director at IWF. In this role, she will be responsible for leading IWF’s grant-funded work to provide data, resources and facilitation for community-led solutions to expand local solutions to expand childcare. Jill will be a community convenor, liaison between state leaders and funders, as well as link IWF to opportunities to grow its focus to shatter barriers to women’s economic self-sufficiency across the state.
Jill has built and maintained strong relationships with policymakers, businesses, and community organizations to drive impactful change throughout her career. She has successfully led initiatives that enhance the well-being of children and families, fostered partnerships, and implemented sustainable programs that create lasting positive change. Her experience includes managing Resilient Communities Wapello County, founding and leading Be The Light, a nonprofit focused on suicide prevention and brain health, and serving as an Iowa Family Support Peer Reviewer. Jill holds a BA in Human Services and Psychology from Buena Vista University.
