Nicole’s initial involvement with IWF was through the Grants Committee, where she has helped review grant applications for many years.

Nicole earned a BA from the University of Virginia and spent a few years working in the Washington D.C. Metro area before relocating to Cedar Rapids in 1999. She obtained her MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa in 2002 and began her 25-year career at Collins Aerospace.

Today, she is the Director of Business Development Operations Excellence and co-leads the Cedar Rapids Community Advisory Group at Collins. The group is responsible for approving grant funding awards throughout the Corridor. She also serves on the Corridor Women Connect advisory board.

Nicole is passionate about helping others in the community. She enjoys the opportunity to help make a difference with her time and talents, especially when it comes to breaking down any barriers faced by Iowa’s women and girls.
