Carly joined the Foundation as Development Director in 2025. She brings over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including development roles at two other statewide organizations—NewBoCo and iJAG.

An Iowa native, Carly grew up in Osceola and attended the University of Iowa. There, she earned a BA in Sociology and a Master’s of Social Work. Her academic background fueled her desire to understand systems, their impact on people and how to drive change that improves lives.

During her eight years with iJAG, she held a variety of roles that contributed to the organization’s tripling in size. She increased revenue streams and expanded strategic partnerships with schools, employers and communities—strengthening iJAG’s reach and ability to serve students across Iowa.

Carly is excited to step into her role with IWF and engage with investors and donors who are passionate about the mission. She believes that collective impact is essential to shattering barriers and creating lasting change.
