Waypoint offers a variety of proactive services and resources for those experiencing housing instability, poverty, or violence, as well as individuals needing access to affordable child care. Waypoint’s child care program, KidsPoint, is designed to offer high-quality early education to children from all backgrounds. Serving nearly 200 children ages six weeks to 12 years old, KidsPoint helps provide positive early learning experiences through research-based programming. IWF funding previously went towards the KidsPoint scholarship program. This allowed Waypoint to award more scholarships and meet the community’s increasing demand for child care, especially for low-income families.
