The Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council was founded in 1988 by leading employers and unions to maintain a labor-management environment which is conducive to industrial retention and attraction; provide a forum to improve and expand union/employer cooperation in the private and public sectors in the Dubuque area; and create a more positive image of labor-management relations in the community.
