This grant will enhance iJAG’s trades and commercial construction pathway for young women in school districts across the state. Industry professionals will discuss workplace culture, wages, skills required, and available training. A customizable Project Based Learning (PBL) unit will support hands-on skill building that empowers young women to explore specific trades with confidence.
Social Change: This program focuses on changing young women’s understanding of their potential and helps build relationships between female students and female tradespeople, filling the gender gap in trade careers.
