The goal of the Parenting and Life Skills program is to improve the long-term self-sufficiency and quality of life for participants and their children, with a strong emphasis on education. The program provides support to meet essential needs and achieve personal goals such as high school graduation and post-secondary education. The program also includes credit recovery to complete online courses for high school graduation, scholarships to pursue post-secondary education (associate degrees, trade school and certification programs), and life skills such as career development, goal setting, and financial literacy all leading to economic self-sufficiency for young women.
