Judy has been connected with IWF since 1995, when she attended an organizational meeting in Cedar Rapids. She has served on the Board of Directors, a previous Advisory Council to the IWF, and has participated on a number of grants evaluation committees.
She grew up in Washington, Iowa, and earned a Master’s in Library Science from Indiana University. For over 30 years, Judy worked at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, IA and has authored three books and several articles on women in management.
Judy has participated and served in numerous community organizations and committees. Of all the core barriers, she is most passionate about IWF’s work in eliminating barriers to childcare and education—two major issues that have the most impact on women’s ability to fully participate in society.
Judy is a tea expert, the Owner of TalkingTea LLC, and the author of several tea-related books.
