A founding member of IWF and long-time advocate and volunteer, Stephanie has been a social change leader and organization builder throughout her professional life, starting in 1972.
Stephanie graduated with a BA in English Literature from Loyola University and has completed graduate work in Organizational Management at the University of Northern Iowa. She resides in Cedar Falls, where she is the founder and principal of Clohesy Consulting, an organizational development firm serving philanthropic foundations and non-profit institutions. Her work has often focused on women’s rights, but she has also worked on issues of democracy, conflict, and human rights—encompassing equality and security in many forms.
Stephanie is a lifelong volunteer for local, national, and global causes, and currently chairs the Board of one of the nation’s largest nonprofit social ventures—the Tides Network. She also focuses on the future of women’s philanthropy through service with TEWA in Nepal.
