The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) is proud to partner with over 100 state-based organizations. Since 1994, over $2 million has been awarded to nearly 400 programs, benefitting thousands of women and girls in all 99 Iowa counties.

Girls on the Run Eastern Iowa (GOTREI)

Girls on the Run uses running and other physical activities as a platform for teaching life skills and promoting holistic health outcomes for girls in grades 3-8.

The Kids Spot is a nonprofit child care center that opened in Lake City, Iowa in 1992. They provide part-time, full-time and before/after school care. They are the only DHS licensed program in their community.

VIKES stands for Vision, Inspire, Kindness, Encouragement, and Success. This includes supporting children to develop hopes and dreams for their future, praising and providing helpful feedback so that children are successful, teaching children to show a genuine, deep, and selfless concern for others without expecting something in return, inspiring children with courage, spirit, and hope, and finally, teaching children to behave in a way that leaves them happy with a positive mark left on the world.

Parenting and Life Skills Program for Young Moms

Young Women's Resource Center

Young Women’s Resource and Action is one of the only organizations in central Iowa to offer small group programs, individual support and mental health counseling to girls and young women ages 10-24.

Providing Rural Community Access to After School Programs

St Mark provides space for kids with after school and summer programs to fill a gap for working families and students that are struggling with reading, math and social emotional skills.

Removing Barriers to Career Exploration for Iowa Girls

Iowa Jobs for America's Graduates (IJAG)

IJAG mission is to assist students facing multiple barriers to success to graduate from high school and transition to continued education and careers through provision of counseling, mentoring, tutoring, career exploration and post-secondary planning.

House of Hope

House of Hope provides single mothers in or facing homelessness and women ages 18-24 who have spent time in out-of-home placement with transitional and temporary housing and access to resources to achieve secure families and permanent homes.

Working to Institutionalize Sex Education

EYES OPEN IOWA, DES MOINES

EOI is Iowa’s only agency solely focused on adolescent sexual health. For over 25 years, EOI has worked to create a culture in which all Iowa Teens receive comprehensive, medically accurate, age-appropriate sexual health information.

4Cs will be responsible for undertaking the marketing of a Wage Enhancement program being implemented in Johnson County. We will also be onboarding the centers and child development homes to ensure they are fulfilling the requirements of program participation.
