Opening in 2024, Cedar Valley Kids (CVK) is a new center that provides high-quality childcare to infants through school-aged children. CVK was formed by the Black Hawk Child Care Coalition, which works to develop local business and childcare solutions. Their goal was to provide childcare for employees in the Cedar Valley, improving recruitment and retention of professionals in their community. Furthermore, providing safe and supportive child care will serve to grow the next generation of leaders, fostering a positive cycle for the area.
