Avoca is a growing community with the need for child care. Lil Vikes opened a new center in June of 2023 after the previous center closed abruptly. Their license allows up to 28 children, but with their current staffing, they are limited to 14–20 kids. Funding for this project will allow Lil Vikes to hire a third staff member, reach full capacity, and help more families in their community.
