Funding for this project will provide furniture and educational materials for a brand-new childcare center, “Little Me & Company,” slated to open in January 2024. Wayland is a town in Southeast Iowa with a population of 964, and there is only one registered daycare in the community. “Little Me & Company” will provide 49 new childcare slots in Wayland. The Center will be open year-round and will provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Center will be community based and will be open to all area families with a need for childcare.
