Josie Cox
Josie Cox is a renowned journalist, author, broadcaster, and public speaker, best known for her book Women, Money, Power: The Rise and Fall of Economic Equality. Her extensive reporting explores the historical fight for women’s financial freedom, sharing inspirational accounts of pioneers who took on the law and social norms, while also examining the modern culture and systems that continue to hold women back today.
Throughout her career, Josie has contributed to major print and broadcast outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, The Washington Post, CNN, and the BBC. Alongside her extensive media work, she holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where she serves as an Associate Instructor, and was a 2020/2021 Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia Journalism School.
Josie will take the stage at this year’s luncheon for a special Fireside Chat, sharing powerful stories and shedding light on the ongoing battle for women’s economic prosperity and the crucial work still left to be done.
