Iowa Women’s Foundation Opens 2026 Grant Applications

Coralville, IA — The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) has officially opened the application process for its 2026 Grants. Grant recipients receive up to $50,000 for programs focusing specifically on addressing one of the six identified barriers to economic prosperity  for women and girls in the state of Iowa: 

  • Childcare
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Employment
  • Mentorship
  • Education/Training

Last year alone, IWF awarded $410,000 worth of grants to a variety of organizations. 

Grants are awarded to nonprofits located in Iowa, licensed childcare centers, and registered in-home childcare providers. Qualifying programs have until 5:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026, to submit their Letter of Interest (LOI) at iawf.org/grants.
