Coralville, IA — The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) has officially opened the application process for its 2025 Core Grants. Grant recipients receive up to $50,000 for programs focusing specifically on addressing one of the six identified barriers to self-sufficiency for women and girls in the state:
- Childcare
- Housing
- Transportation
- Employment
- Mentorship
- Education/Training
Last year alone, IWF awarded $300,000 worth of grants to a variety of organizations.
Core Grants are awarded to Iowa-based nonprofits, licensed childcare centers, and registered in-home childcare providers. Qualifying programs have until 5:00 p.m. on May 16, 2025, to submit their Letter of Interest (LOI) at iawf.org/core-grants.
