The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) is joining Bagolitas’ new Pay It Forward Program. IWF supporters now have another way to invest in the dreams of girls and the power of women. By shopping through http://www.bagolitas.com/iawfic, 15% of each sale will become a direct investment in expanded opportunities for Iowa women and girls. Bagolitas’ will also host an open house benefit for IWF in their North Liberty warehouse on November 14, 2009 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

Bagolitas’ Pay It Forward Program is designed to allow non-profit organizations (501(c)(3) organizations) a new avenue for fundraising and spreading awareness. Janice Baldes, Founder of Bagolitas said, “From the very beginning I felt that I was being given this opportunity to do good things for others.” Baldes said this program aligns with Bagolitas’ mission to redefine the lives of others through career opportunities, the products they make, and the charitable actions they encourage. Bagolitas is most proud to report that their charitable efforts to date have provided over $80,000 in support for many wonderful causes.
Bagolitas by Janice - the spunky fringe fabric handbags and accessories boutique - has been helping women redefine themselves through career opportunities or the handbags that they carry since 2005. Bagolitas has had over $4 million in cumulative sales in just four short years, primarily through at-home parties and the efforts of their exceptional sales team along with their new Pay It Forward partners.
