Down By the Creek Rescued Animals
When I was a girl, growing up on an old Iowa farm... I milked cows, fed hogs, cleaned the chicken house, weeded the large garden, and helped to take care of my 10 brothers and sisters! I learned to cook in big pots and did mountains of dishes and laundry! I was the oldest and I liked to help.
However, it was heavenly to escape for awhile ...down by the creek! I adored discovering the wildlife there, and I could refresh myself with the beauty of Nature and her Peace.
Now, as a grown woman, I have returned to Iowa and the creek. I have traveled the world as an Air
Force wife, and raised 3 sons. Life can be stressful and challenging for us all; I see the need for refreshment everywhere I go. I began this little business with the idea to help people with rescued companion animals....to bring the down by the creek experience I had as a young girl, to people in need. After all, we may rescue an animal's life, but they rescue our heart! We are connected at the hip to the animal kingdom. The species we rescue, may very well be our own!
