Celebrate women and girls on a magnificent Iowa Century Farm!
Melinda Foreman, Susan Frye, Michael Kienzle, Ann Mohr and Mettie Thomopulos will host the Second Annual Garden Party and Art Fair on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the scenic Frye Kienzle Century Farm.
The fun begins at 11:30 am.
Over 25 Iowa artists and businesses have donated original works for the silent auction. In addition, unique container gardens and hostas will be available courtesy of Every Bloomin' Thing, Fountains of Flowers, Peggy Doerge and Wylde Wood Estates.

Ceramic Tile
This 4" x 4" tile is made in the UK exclusively for Sweet Bella by a single craftsman. Each tile is made in an incredibly labor intensive process that involves hand painting, inlays and glazing over three firings. A hanging hook is included on the back of every tile. This unique accessory was donated by Modela in Iowa City. More amazing items from Modela will be available for purchase at the Garden Party with 25% of the proceeds benefitting Iowa women and girls.

Flowers and Vase
Acrylic on canvas by artist and physician Michael Kienzle. Kienzle's paintings feature many layers of background color applied using a variety of techniques to give each piece mood, energy and a sense of movement. Kienzle states that "painting has allowed me to discover a whimsical and child-like joy of discovery that enriches my everyday life." Framed dimensions 26.5" x 39". Raised in the rolling hills of Grant Wood County of Eastern Iowa, Diane Naylor attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and acquired her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) & has attended the Maharishi University of Management.
