6th Annual Run Like A Mother Run/Walk
The cold winds didn't hinder the spirit and determination of the over 300 women, men and children that participated in the 4 mile run/walk. Over $8,000 in contributions were raised to benefit IWF.
Thanks to Suzy Freedman and the Chicks for Change for coordinating the event. Suzy and her family not only took the lead in planning the event, they were in the front of the pack throughout the race. Dean Schillinger, Suzy's husband, was the overal male winner. Sam Schillinger, Suzy's son, staffed the registration table and finished first is his age group. They have set the pace - who will take the lead next year?
