REACH Awards
Recognizing Excellence, Always Creating History

Created in 2006, the Iowa Women’s Foundation REACH Awards (formerly 50% Solution Awards) raise up those who open doors for others. The future of Iowa is inherently tied to opening doors of opportunity. Our goal is to ensure that all women achieve personal success and maximize their contributions to diversity, economic vitality and quality of life in Iowa communities.
Annual awards will be presented at the 16th Annual Awards Luncheon in three categories: emerging leader, established leader and organization.
An emerging leader is an individual who has demonstrated an innovative vision or idea that will help re-shape the social, cultural and/or economic landscape of her/his community. This leader is passionate about the advancement of women and dedicated to achieving real, sustainable change.
An established leader is an individual with experience and the long-term commitment to her/his community. This leader demonstrates resolve, the ability to break new ground and has fostered the advancement of Iowa women and girls.
Organization nominees may be business, non-profit, clubs, professional or informal organizations that have identified an area of needed improvement and taken real steps to create change. The organization provides life and/or career supports for women and girls through programs, advocacy or mentoring.
